Come to God Just As You Are
π‘ So many people think:
π “I need to get my life together before I come to God.”
π “I’ve got to fix this habit first.”
π “I’m not good enough yet.”
π« That’s a lie! The Bible says:
π “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” — Romans 5:8 (NLT)
π Jesus didn’t wait for you to clean up your life — He came for you in the middle of your mess.
π Think about it: You don’t brush your teeth perfectly before the dentist cleans them. You don’t scrub dishes spotless before putting them in the dishwasher. Why do we think we need to be perfect before running to God?
God says:
π “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
π “He will send down help from heaven to save me because of his love.” — Psalm 57:3 (TLB)
π₯ The truth:
You come with your problems. The good. The bad. The ugly.
God is not asking you to make promises you can’t keep — He’s asking you to believe the promise only He can keep.
❤️ The Bible says:
π “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9 (NIV)
π Prayer:
Lord, thank You that I don’t have to fix myself before coming to You. I bring You my whole heart — the broken parts, the struggles, and the sin. I believe that Jesus died and rose again for me. Help me to live in Your love and grace every day. Amen.
✨ No more waiting. Come as you are. He’s ready for you today.
