Discovering Freedom by Embracing Your Clay Jar Humanity 🙌 The Treasure in Broken Vessels We serve a mighty God who chooses to display His glory through imperfect people. The Apostle Paul reminds us of this powerful truth: “But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” (2 Corinthians 4:7 ESV) As Spirit-filled believers, we are motivated to serve others not by our own strength, but because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross. The Holy Spirit stirs our hearts to declare God’s message to a hurting world. Yet many sincere Christians burn out because they forget a vital kingdom principle: God never called us to be superheroes — He called us to be surrendered vessels. You are a clay jar, not the Treasure itself.
