Are You Living on Purpose — or Just Passing Time?⏳π₯
✨ You Were Created for a Divine Purpose
God did not create you to drift through life. You were born again by the Spirit and called into a Spirit-filled, purpose-driven life.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
— Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)
π₯ Your life is not random. Your time is not meaningless. Your calling is intentional.
⏳ Your Time = Your Life
Every person is given the same 168 hours each week. The difference is not in the time we have—but in how we steward it before God.
“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.”
— Psalm 90:12 (ESV)
π‘ If you waste time, you waste life.
π‘ If you redeem time, you fulfill purpose.
⚖️ The Battle: What’s Easy vs. What’s Eternal
Let’s be honest—choosing what is right is often harder than choosing what is easy, especially when you’re tired or distracted.
But Scripture calls us higher:
“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
— Colossians 3:2 (ESV)
π₯ The Spirit-led life requires intentional choices.
π₯ You cannot live accidentally and expect eternal impact.
π§ Discern What Truly Matters
You don’t have time for everything—and God never asked you to.
“One thing I have asked of the Lord… that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.”
— Psalm 27:4 (ESV)
π Effective believers learn to:
- Prioritize God’s presence over distractions
- Choose obedience over comfort
- Invest in eternal fruit, not temporary pleasure
π₯ Pentecostal Power: You Need the Holy Spirit
You cannot live wisely in your own strength. You need the guidance, conviction, and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
— Galatians 5:16 (ESV)
π️ The Holy Spirit helps you:
- Discern God’s will
- Say no to distractions
- Walk in spiritual authority
- Live with eternal focus
π Rest Is Spiritual — Not Optional
Many fall into distraction because they are simply exhausted.
Even Jesus rested.
“Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.”
— Mark 6:31 (ESV)
π‘ A tired soul chooses easy things.
π‘ A refreshed spirit chooses God’s best.
π« Stop Settling for Less
⚠️ Don’t waste your life on what doesn’t matter.
⚠️ Don’t trade your calling for comfort.
⚠️ Don’t live distracted in a dying world.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”
— Romans 12:2 (ESV)
π₯ You were not created to coast—you were created to carry fire.
❓ Ask Yourself Daily
π Is this the best use of my time?
π Is this aligning with God’s will?
π Is this producing eternal fruit?
“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)
π Prayer
Heavenly Father,
I come before You in the name of Jesus. Teach me to value the time You have given me. Fill me afresh with the Holy Spirit, that I may walk in wisdom and not in foolishness.
Lord, help me to discern what truly matters and to let go of distractions that pull me away from Your will. Give me strength to choose what is right over what is easy. Restore my soul when I am weary, and lead me in paths of righteousness.
I surrender my time, my plans, and my life to You. Let everything I do bring glory to Your name and produce eternal fruit.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. ✝️π₯
